Itinerary

Upon arrival in Myanmar, our guide and driver will welcome you for the transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is for your leisure and own discovery of Yangon city. Late afternoon, explore the most iconic site, the stunning Shwedagon pagoda. This significant religious site is unquestionably the biggest Golden spire in the country, dominating the skyline of Yangon by its gold-like flash.

After breakfast, your classic Best of Myanmar tour will take you to Bagan. This fascinating zone is amongst the top 3 archaeological sites in Asia, boasting thousands of pagodas and temples remaining from 11th century. 
Once you land in Bagan, start exploring the key sites including the golden pagoda of Shwezigon, temples of Gubyaukgyi, Htilominlo. These regilious treasures offers not only the insight to Buddhism of Myanmar but also the sophisticated jataka art. 
In the afternoon, take a styled horse cart to travel on the unpaved road winding through Thatbyinnyu, the highest temples as well some hidden stops and splendid Sulamani temple. We finish the day with an incredible sunset over the sacred plains of Bagan.

Today, we discover Bagan further than its surface . We kick off the days by a market visit to Nyang Oo town. The market is a rendevous for all local villagers who come to sell their farming produce as well hand-made goods.
We then head to Manuha village to explore more about local life as well the less-visited Manuha temple. 
In the afternoon, we travel to Minanthu village, witnessing how villagers make peanut oil, sesame oil in their traditional way before embarking on a boat trip to capture the view on Irrawaddy River. Sunset river cruise is one of the highlights for your time in Bagan.

Optional: Balloon Morning Ride.
This is one of the most rewarding experiences in Bagan. It allows travelers and photographers alike to shoot the panorama of Bagan sacred plains when the sun break the magical mask over the temples.

You will be picked up for a short flight to Mandalay, the last capital of Burma Kingdom. 
The first stop for your visit today is Mahamuni pagoda, home to the most reverted Buddha images in the country. From here, your tour brings you to a traditional workshop where kalaga tapestries are made. Mandalay is also the city where gold leaf, wood carving works flourish ... you will have chance to observe the whole process of both two works this morning.
In the afternoon, Kuthodaw pagoda will attract your camera`s lens as it houses 729 stone slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Continue your visit to Shwenandaw monastery which boasts the old part of Royal palace, representing for Burmese scupture works. 
Spend your sunset time by the top of Mandalay Hill, a perfect spot to enjoy the region`s panorama.

Today, we escape from the tropical heat to Pyin Oo Lwin, the summer paradise for local people. This area is blessed with mild weather, lush plantation, beautiful garden and filled with fascinating British Architects. 
After a scenic drive, you will discover the Botanic Garden, central market and some notable churches remaining from British Era. Optional visit to coffee plantation as well flower gardens could be arranged upon request. 
On the way back, drop by Ubein, the longest teakwood bridge in the world for an impressive sunset.

After breakfast, we leave Mandalay to Shan state with a 30 minute flight. As we reach Heho airport, our local driver will take you to the Heho market which attracts many local hill tribes in the areas. 
The visit of Inle Lake starts with a motor boat ride through verdant floating gardens untill you reach Phang Daw Oo pagoda. 
In the afternoon, we will explore the Silk and Cigar Works at Inpawkhone village. 
Your lakeside resort is an ideal base to capture the sunset reflecting through Inle`s water. 

Optional: Intha fisherman Photography
For those who are keen on the captivating photos of Inle, we offer a workshop at sunset with candle to shoot Inle fishermen who navigate the boat by one leg.

Our destination today is Indein market which rotates every 5 days around the lake shore from village to village. The market differs from all the markets you have visited during the tour Best of Myanmar as you will see Pa-O, Intha and Shan vendors. The goods exposed at the markets are also very unique. 
On the way back to Nyang Shwe town, we spend time to explore more the area`s landscape before taking the flight back o Yangon.

After breakfast, our guide will show you Yangon downtown which boasts numerous British Heritages including City Hall, Waterinn building, Strand Hotel. This guided walk also takes you through vibrant China town, India towns where you can sample some of the best street foods in Asia. 
We finish our tour at Scott market, a historical building consists of over 1000 stalls for arts, handicrafts, souvenirs. 
See off at Yangon airport for your flight back home!
