Itinerary

This morning, our driver will pick up at your hotel for the trip from Yangon to Golden Rock. En route, we will explore the local market of Thanatpin then capture the Mon village arises amongst the green rice fields as we take a longtail boat. After lunch, we head to Kin Pun base camp to change our mode of transfer to an open truck. After 11km, we will arrive at Kyaikhtiyo pagoda. The Golden Rock is known as the most sacred Buddhism site which attracts millions of pilgrimage every year. The pagoda is famed for a giant golden rock seat balanced precariously on the edge of a cliff.

Early riser can behold a beautiful sunrise from the top of Golden Rock this morning. After breakfast, we head back to Bago, one of the richest archeological sites in Burma. Your orientation discovery of Bago commences with the 55m reclining Buddha Shwe Tha Lyaung then Shwemawdaw pagoda. After lunch, we will see how local artisan produce silk in a typical Mon weaving village. Transfer to your hotel for your personal leisure.
