Itinerary

Upon arrival in Myanmar, our guide and driver will welcome you for the transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is for your leisure and own discovery of Yangon city. Late afternoon, explore the most iconic site, the stunning Shwedagon pagoda. This significant religious site is unquestionably the biggest Golden spire in the country, dominating the skyline of Yangon by its gold-like flash.

After breakfast, we depart for Kyaikhtiyo, a scenic 4,5 hour trip eastward from Yangon.
Upon arrival in Kinpun, board a local truck to reach Mr. Hermit where you take a hike up to Kyaikhtiyo. You will be amazed by the image of Golden Rock, perching on top of a precariously positioned golden granite boulder. Our guide will introduce you the story of Buddha relic stored in this famous pilgrimage site.

Early riser will have chance to observe sunrise over the rock before we come back to Kinpun for a drive to Bago, the ancient capital of Mon Kingdome.
Stretch your legs to mingle with Mon people in a local market, followed by a touch to the impressive 55 meter long reclining Buddha at Shwetharlyaung.
Spend time learning about the Palace of Kanbawzathadi, or Golden God Temple. The towering golden pagoda is the tallest pagoda in Burma and was originally built around the 10th century. Once in Yangon, you are free to enjoy your leisure.

A short flight in the morning will take you to Shan State. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and ready for a picturesque drive through flower plantation, rustic hamlets ad spectacular mountain vistas until you arrive in Nyang Shwe town. From here, our boat ride will bring you into the lush area of Inle Lake stuffed by exotic stilt villages, green floating gardens. Take advantage of your time for some of the most impressive photos in Inpawkhone village and Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda.

This morning, cruising to the southern part of Inle Lake as far as In Dein and Ywama.
Our destination of the day is the market of Indein, a rendezvous for Pa-O, Padaung and Intha ethnic minorities who come to sell and buy the fresh lake catches, farming tools and products.
After the visit to Indein ruins, we head to Heho airport for the flight to Mandalay. Transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast, embark a private boat upsteam Ayeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun, an former capital in 18th century. The sightseeing includes King Bodawpaya’s unfinished temple and the mighty Mingun Bell, considered to be the world’s largest un-damaged bell. Just a few step from the riverbank, there appears the enchanting Hsinbyume Pagoda, with its crisp white wave-like roof set perfectly against the deep blue sky above.
This afternoon, excursion to Amarapura ancient capital built by King Bodawpaya in 1783. The major attraction of this areas are royal tomb, ancient royal palace, the Kyauktawgyi Pagoda and the Maha Gandhayon monastery. The highlighted experience is a pleasant walk along Ubein, the longest teakwood bridge in the world.

Located 67km from Mandalay, Pyn Oo Lwin or Maymyo was functioned as a military outpost and the summer escape during British Colonial time. This hill station has preserved its charm through British style villas, gardens and park. After 2 hours driving from Mandalay, enjoy a stroll inside one of the biggest botanical parks in Burma.
Return to Mandalay this afternoon and continue your touring day to Royal Palace, an outstanding monument depict the best of Burma last kingdom.

Leave Mandalay for a car trip to Monywa. Enroute, visit Mohnyin Than Buddhay Pagoda which is said to accommodate 582,357 small Buddha images; Bodi Tahtaung Pagoda and the 90 meter long, reclining Buddha Image and the highest standing Buddha image (129 meter) in the world.
If time permits, explore the typical work of making lacquer ware in Monywa and Shwe Guni Pagoda.

After breakfast, our driver will take you to Pakkoku, famed for ingredient, textiles, handy crafts and wood carving sculpture. Cross Ayeyarwaddy River to enter Bagan, a hauntingly beautiful Unesco site, filled by some 2500 splendid pagodas and temples.

Full day guided tour to appreciate Bagan`s must see starting from Shwezigon pogoda to Ananda Temples, stopping by Dhammayan Gyi, Sulamani and many other temples.
In the afternoon, we travel by horse drawn cart to explore the remote sites and finish your travelling day by Shwesandaw Pagoda for a panoramic sunset.

Travel out of Bagan to the town of Chauk this morning. We offer a unique experience to traditional Burmese tea, witnessing the central market. After that, continue to the ancient town of Sale, visiting Yoke-sone Kyaung, a 19th century wooden monastery, featuring intricate wooden carvings. There is also a museum to celebrate the life of Sale’s most famous son; the poet and author Sale U Ponnya.
Back to Bagan for a relaxing sunset cruise.
